If you’re planning on hitting a tanning bed or applying spray tan, you should prepare your skin with a good moisturizer to ensure your skin is ready to soak in all the color. This will prevent an uneven tan and help you look radiant. If you’re getting a spray tan, moisturizer shouldn’t be applied right before your tanning session, as it can prevent the tanning lotion from sinking into your skin.
Never Forget the Sunscreen
Dry skin, oily skin, combination skin, it doesn’t matter. Skin in general needs to be protected from UV rays to prevent premature aging and other health conditions. You should ideally go for SPF30 or higher to ensure your skin is well-protected.
